LINTRONIC RELAY 208
Configuration FUNCTION / MODE MODE 01-32 Is specifically designed to control up/down control of curtains/motors. 8 boards (or more upon request) can communicate in RS232 cascade. Each RELAY 208 controls up to 4 motors and relays are paired 2 by 2: Motor 1 = RELAY 1 and 2 Motor 2 = RELAY 3 and 4 Motor 3 = RELAY 5 and 6 Motor 4 = RELAY 7 and 8 The firmware does not allow a motors Up and DOWN relays to be active at the same time (ac motor protection). If you command UP, then DOWN will be turned off first. If you command DOWN, then UP will be turned off first. When UP/DOWN is commanded. NOTE: However, if you decide to use only RELAY 1-2 and RELAY 3-4 for control of two motors, you may optionally control RELAY 5-8 directly for lights etc.
MODE 01-64 Is designed for manual on/off control of individual relays. 8 boards (or more upon request) can communicate in RS232 cascade. There is no dependency between the relays (1).
Customized firmware The many combinations of mode 01-32 and 01-64, and triggering by Numbers, Colors, Beo5, Input1 On/Off and Input2 On/Off, makes the RELAY 208 the most flexible solution on the market. Furthermore we offer customized control by two optional Triggers A and B. Trigger A/B can be for example RS232 commands from a computer/controller, a special pulse/pause reading of the digital inputs, and infrared command or … The existing triggers as well as Trigger A/B can control the relays, the digital outputs or an RS232 command for a projector, a light system, etc. on any of the two comports, etc. Let us know how we can help you. (1) Relays can all be ON at the same time, so care and consideration is required when controlling ac motors (which may be destroyed if power/phase is applied on both control wires at the same time.

Configuration Function/Mode: 01-32 up/down
1 up 1 down 2 up 2 down 3 up 3 down 4 up 4 down
In mode 01-32 the relays are paired 2 by 2 as illustrated. Example: 1 up = relay 1 timing, 1 down = relay 2 timing. You can set different timing for up/down.
http://www.lintronic.dk
LINTRONIC RELAY 208
Configuration REMOTE MODE You can operate the RELAY 208 in either Light Normal or Light Link mode (refers to the BEO4 and BEO5).
FIRST RELAY In each relay box, you can specify the number of the first relay, ranging from 1 to 57. This allows you to individually control each of the relays or make group control. Group Control Let us assume that in relay box 1, we set the first relay to be number 1 and in relay box 2, we set the first relay to be number 5. This means that: - in relay box 1 we have relays 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. - in relay box 2 we have relays 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. When you control relay 1 through 4 and relay 9 through 12, you will only activate one relay, but if you activate relay 5 through 8 you will actually activate one relay in each of the two relay boxes. This is a very simple way of controlling multiple relays with only one command.
ALL RELAYS Allows you to specify 0 or 9 to be the command controlling all relays.
http://www.lintronic.dk
LINTRONIC RELAY 208
Configuration SETTINGS IR1 -> RELAYS, IR2 -> RELAYS Determines individually whether the IR input 1 and 2, may control the relays. IR1 -> COMMPORT1, IR1 -> COMMPORT2, IR2 -> COMMPORT1, IR2 -> COMMPORT1, Determines individually whether the IR input 1 and 2, should send a command on the respective commports. Can be used to optionally control a computer or for example a TT455-RT-238 on the two commports. COMMPORT1 -> COMMPORT2, COMMPORT1 -> COMMPORT2, Determines individually whether the commport 1 and 2 should copy incoming LinTronic telegrams to the other commport. TT455-RT-238 ON COMMPORT1, TT455-RT-238 ON COMMPORT2, Instructs the RELAY 208 to listen to and optionally be controlled by incoming telegrams/command from a connected TT455-RT-238 sending its detected IR code through the RELAY 208 to a computer or another TT455-RT-238 connected to the other commport. COMMPORT2 = RS485 Check this box if you use commports 2's industrial 2-wire long-range RS485 bus instead of the RS232.

RELAY 208 is designed to work perfectly with the BEO5 remote control. BEO5 includes some new Control and Function commands. With a 2-command combination, you can instruct the RELAY 208 to activate a specific relay for a specific time. Example: CONTROL 5 - FUNCTION 20 - activates relay no. 5 for 20 seconds. This makes it very easy to set up your BEO5 to control the RELAY 208 in virtually any way you want. Perfect for control of lights, curtains, projector screens, etc. when you want enter or leave a Cinema/Theater mode. Ofcourse you can also configure the BEO5 to send out the number and color commands mentioned for the BEO4.

The BeoSystem holds two digital outputs. When the system enters the Theater/Cinema mode, the two digital outputs both become active (ground). The BeoSystem is easily setup like this: First Digital Output 1 is activated (ground), then a programmable delay expires and finally the Digital Output 2 becomes active (ground). When leaving Theater/Cinema mode, the two digital outputs both become in-active (5 volt). First Digital Output 1 becomes in-activate (5 volt), then a programmable delay expires and finally the Digital Output 2 becomes in-active (5 volt). The RELAY 208 can be configured to react to these digital signals and activate the relays to control light systems, a projector or screen lift, etc. etc. If you have specific ideas we are willing to create special firmware which controls your devices as you need.
