Minimal 5 GB free space harddisk ( Lebih Besar Lebih Baik ). 3. Minimal 512 MB RAM dan 1 GB swap 4. File ISO Ubuntu 10.04 . 5. Koneksi Internet yang memadai.

2. PROSES INSTALASI UCK Ada beberapa cara untuk menginstall UCK, misalnya dengan menDownload Pake UCK lalu menjalankannya di package manager atau bisa menginstall lewat terminal . Berikut langkah – langkah instalasi UCK lewat terminal : “sudo add-apt-repository ppa:uck-team/uck-stable” “sudo apt-get update” “sudo apt-get install uck”
3. TAHAP REMASTERING Buka Program UCK di System Tools/Ubuntu Customization Kit
Pilih close , Kemudian akan muncul form untuk memilih bahasa . pilih bahasa yang anda inginkan, lalu tekan OK.
Selanjutnya akan muncul pilihan bahasa yang digunakan saat booting live cd, masukan pilihan anda lalu tekan OK.
Selanjutnya pilih bahasa yang akan digunakan pada live cd, tekan OK
Pilih Desktop Environments yang akan digunakan. disini saya menggunakan gnome. Klik OK.
Pilih File ISO yang akan diRemaster. Klik OK
Isikan nama yang akan digunakan untk cd yang akan dibuat, Anda dapat langsung memilih ok,
Pilih yes untuk mengkostumisasi secara manual. Klik OK.
Selanjutnya akan muncul pilihan, apakah kita akan menghapus file ( wubi,autorun.inf, etc )? Pilih NO. lalu klik OK.
Ready To Build . Klik Colse untuk Memulai.
Isikan password sesuai dengan password anda.
Tunggu beberapa saat hingga muncul form berikut.
Anda akan menemukan 3 pilihan : run package manager, run console application dan continue building. Pilih run package manager untuk melakukan instalasi melalui package manager. Klik OK.
Pilih Close untuk melanjutkan
Tampilan Package manager. Disini anda dapat memilih program apa saja yang ingin anda tambahkan atau hapus.
Jika sudah selesai maka anda tinggal mengklik Apply. Maka akan dilakukan downloading package fille tunggu hingga prosess download selesai. Setelah selesai maka akan kembali tampil form pilihan sebagai berikut :
Pilih continue building untuk melanjutkan proses. Tunggu hingga proses tersebut selesai. Jika semua proses sudah selesai maka anda akan diminta untuk menekan tombol enter untuk keluar dari terminal.
File ISO hasil remastering bisa dilihat di folder home/tmp/remaster-new-files/ dengan nama file livecd.iso.
