Its design is the result of research on cooking rice in the microwave. • Dishwasher safe: Made of plastic and 100% platinum silicone. *Considering the great variety of rice and grains, our advice in the first uses is to check the amount of remaining water once the cooking time is halfway through and 2-3 minutes before time is done: make sure the rice or grain is always moist until it is cooked. Otherwise, add small amounts of water. Once the cooking time is over, remember to let it sit for 3 minutes before serving. Do not use with the grill or convection funtion on the microwave.

Ingredients

1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, finely minced 2 tbsp olive oil 1 1/3 cup water 2/3 cup black bean liquid 1/4 cup black beans 1 cup long grain rice Salt Pepper Scallions and fresh cilantro, to garnish

½ zucchini, diced ¼ yellow summer squash, diced 3 baby bella or white mushrooms, sliced ½ cup long grain rice 1 cup water 1 tbsp olive oil Salt Pepper

Instructions 1. Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves. Put into the Lekue Rice Cooker with a pinch of salt and pepper and olive oil. 2. Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes at 800watts. 3. While that is cooking, drain the black beans, saving the liquid. 4. Remove the rice cooker from the microwave; add the water, black bean liquid, rice, and black beans. Stir all together. 5. Cook in the microwave and cook for 16 minutes at 800watts. 6. Remove from the microwave, let rest for 1 minute. *To serve, garnish with chopped scallions and fresh cilantro.

Instructions 1. Dice the zucchini and yellow squash, and slice the mushrooms. 2. Place all ingredients into the Lekue Rice Cooker with a pinch of salt and pepper. 3. Cook in the microwave for 16 minutes at 800watts. 4. Remove from the microwave and let sit for 1 minute. Enjoy!

SALAD

Ingredients ½ cup long grain rice 1 cup water 1/3 cup red onion, diced ½ yellow bell pepper, diced 1 celery stalk, diced ¼ cup garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp balsamic vinegar Salt Pepper Goat cheese (if desired)

Instructions 1. Put the rice and water into the Lekue Rice Cooker. Place in the microwave and cook for 13 minutes at 800watts. 2. While the rice is cooking, dice up the vegetables. 3. Once the rice is done, fluff with a fork. Let cool for a minute and then add the olive oil, balsamic, diced vegetables, garbanzo beans, salt, and pepper. 4. Mix together, season with salt and pepper. Finish with a small amount of crumbled goat cheese. *You can also add or substitute cucumber, sweet onion, zucchini, etc. for any of the vegetables.

½ cup long grain rice

1. Put all ingredients, except the cheese, into the Lekue Rice Cooker.

1 cup water ½ cup small broccoli florets ¼ cheese of your choice, grated 1 tbsp olive oil

2. Cook in the microwave for 14 minutes at 800watts. 3. Remove from the microwave and while still hot, add the grated cheese to the rice.

Salt, pinch Pepper, pinch

4. Mix gently to melt the cheese. Enjoy!

Ingredients 1/3 cup canned sweet corn, drained 1 small onion, chopped 1 banana pepper, seeded and deveined, chopped ½ cup long grain rice 1 cup water 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp salt 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp ground cumin

crowave and cook for 14 minutes at 800watts. 3. Remove from the microwave and enjoy.
