Abstract: The effect of different levels of dehusked castor seeds ( Ricinus Communis) on thirty-two weeks old layers was investigated. Sixty-four brown shavers layers were used for the investigation that lasted six weeks. Control diet 1 (reference diet) contained no inclusion of dehusked castor seed meal (DCSM) while groups 2, 3 and 4 contained 3.5, 7.0 and 14% of DCSM respectively. The effect of the above treatments on performance and egg quality parameters were observed. This study indicates that henday production, feed intake, egg weight, egg mass output and feed efficient were significantly higher (P
