Abstract: The effect of different levels of dehusked castor seeds ( Ricinus Communis) on thirty-two weeks old layers was investigated. Sixty-four brown shavers layers were used for the investigation that lasted six weeks. Control diet 1 (reference diet) contained no inclusion of dehusked castor seed meal (DCSM) while groups 2, 3 and 4 contained 3.5, 7.0 and 14% of DCSM respectively. The effect of the above treatments on performance and egg quality parameters were observed.
