DEFINITIVE MAP REVIEW OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY PARISH OF HONITON The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of public rights of way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review is currently being undertaken in Honiton parish. Route 5: Claimed Byway, Cottishayne Lane Claimed Byway Open to All Traffic from Turks Head Lane towards River Otter and picnic area on A30, points N–O–P, O–Q Grid ref: ST 151004–149004–149005, 149004–149003 Maps showing existing recorded public rights of way, with suggested changes to the Definitive Map for three claimed footpaths and two claimed Byways Open to All Traffic from formal applications and evidence submitted are available for inspection at: • Honiton Town Council Offices, New Street, Honiton during office hours (Mon-Fri, 10.00 a.m.-1.00 p.m.); and • the Public Rights of Way Section, Devon County Council, Highways &Traffic Management, Lucombe House, County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter during office hours (Mon–Fri, 9.00 a.m.–4.30 p.m.) and on Devon County Council's website www.devon.gov.uk/prow (on the Definitive Map Review pages).
