How to Add a Facebook Video Cover Have you seen Facebook’s new video covers yet? They are beautiful, engaging and only available for Facebook business pages (not personal profiles). Since video on a landing page can increase conversions by 80% or more1 and native videos on Facebook have 10 times higher reach than YouTube videos2, consider testing them out on your own business page. A video cover is a great way to repurpose a home or community video you’ve already created and take advantage of the popularity of video. Here is how to add a Facebook video cover: 1. Login to your Facebook business page. 2. Click the ADD A COVER icon on the top left of your cover photo. 3. Select UPLOAD PHOTO/VIDEO and select a video from your computer or click CHOOSE FROM VIDEOS to choose an existing video. Videos can only be 20-90 seconds. They will automatically crop to the size of a Facebook cover (820 x 456 pixels), so not all videos will work inside that space.
4. After the video uploads, reposition by clicking and dragging to the right spot. Then click NEXT. 5. Click PUBLISH.

Mobile First: What it Means for Real Estate Recently, Forbes published an article about mobile design evolving from the secondary way that people consume digital media to the primary way. In fact, according to StatCounter, in June 2017 almost 58% of internet usage worldwide was on mobile devices3. Clients are much more likely to view your emails, social posts and websites on their phone. What does this mean for the way you market yourself and your properties online? Share mobile friendly links. Make sure to share your properties from a responsive website like your CBInTouch site. If you share from other sites or the MLS, it is often not mobile friendly. Users are 5 times more likely to leave a site that isn’t mobile friendly4. Try sharing more vertical images. While you should still share horizontal images on websites, vertical images can be more successful on social media platforms viewed from a mobile device. Test it out! Use more video. Video continues to dominate online advertising, social media and websites; plus, mobile video traffic is predicted to grow 50% each year between now and 20225. Try using live video, creating video, or repurposing videos you have already created to capture those online views. StatCounter.com; 4Google Small Business 2016; 5eMarketer 2016
