POMPOMS MAKE 2 Use pom-pom maker or follow instructions as follows: Cut two cardboard circles the size of desired pom-pom. Cut a hole in the center of each circle, approx ½"/1.25cm in diameter. Thread a tapestry needle with one very long strand of MC, B, and D. Holding both circles together, insert needle through center hole, over the outside edge, and through center again, going around and around until entire circle is covered and center hole is filled (thread more lengths of yarn as needed). With sharp scissors, cut yarn between the two circles all around the circumference. Using two 12"/30.5cm strands of yarn (tying ends), wrap yarn between circles, going two or three times around; pull tight and tie into a firm knot. Remove cardboard and fluff out the pom-pom. Trim ends as necessary to make pom-pom circular. Attach a pom-pom to each point on top of hat.
