Pay Scale Level: 32

Position Summary Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of the District’s SAP landscape; Administers and maintains the District’s access and authorizations to the various SAP functional modules Essential Duties           

Performs daily SAP monitoring, troubleshooting, and correction of the SAP environments; Creates and maintains SAP system administrative jobs including job spooling reorganizations and synchronizations Oversees SAP database administration and monitoring Conducts application of OS patching; Performs system tuning and monitoring Identifies and performs application of SAP support packages Performs application of identified SAP notes and transports; Troubleshoots and resolves transports errors Executes and manages environment refreshes/copies; Performs SAP client administration (create, copy, delete, export/import client(s)) as needed Performs SAP security administration; Administers and monitors user application access and authorizations(add, change, delete security profiles, roles, infotypes and transactions) Manages system level printers and peripherals Provides support to the SAP Portal environment Provides support and maintenance of the SAP LDAP and SSO configurations Installs SAP proprietary or other add-on software

Additional Responsibilities      

Supports application developers and SAP business process owners Provides SAP hardware/software evaluation and planning Participates as part of SAP project teams as deemed necessary to incorporate new and existing technology into the overarching SAP landscape Utilizes Solution Manager to import, manage, and apply notes and patches as appropriate Develops and maintains SAP backup and recovery strategy; Ensures appropriate processes and polices are incorporated into overall disaster recovery plan Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems required Certification/Licensure: None required; R/3 Administration Certification preferred Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology with at least 3 years experience with SAP
