IMPAC Dublin International Literary Award. First play, A Cool Dry Place, workshopped at the National Theatre Studio, rehearsed reading produced by The Old Vic. London, Criterion Theatre. Ballet documentary, WHITE TIGHTS: Xander Parish: The Making of a Russian Prince, currently in production. Arts and political contributor to the New York Times Magazine, The Paris Review, Daily Telegraph and many others. What made you choose this field? Art has always been "home.” I like learning new languages of self-expression: story-telling in writing, filmmaking, and dance takes me on exciting adventures, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically; it's a form of travel and expansion. What is your favorite part of the job? I couldn’t call it a 'job', more a vocation: having the freedom to follow my curiosities and passions and share them with others is a privilege and a constant challenge of material ingenuity.
