SEACEN CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE I am delighted to join my fellow Governors in congratulating SEACEN on its silver anniversary. It is befitting that we hold this auspicious celebration in the Bank of Thailand which hosted the historical meeting that decided to establish the Centre. I am honoured to be part of this occasion and thank our gracious host for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements. I also extend my greatest appreciation to the Centre for the support it has provided to the work and capacity building in central banks of the Asia Pacific Region. The Reserve Bank of Fiji has been closely associated with the Centre for many years that we were observers and more so when we became a full member in 2004. I believe that the Centre is firmly established to continue to provide relevant services and support to our work in central banks at a time of rapid change in the global financial system.
