Security Change to NetLearning A change has been made to NetLearning that requires a password in addition to your ID to log in starting Monday, June 5, 2017. If you do not already have a password in NetLearning, for use with NetManager, your initial password will be your last name and your first initial (John Smith would be smithj ).

After you use this initial password to log in, you will be prompted to change your password. Your new password must be different from the initial password.

After your new password is saved, you will be taken in to NetLearning as usual. Remember that from June 5, 2017 on, your password will be required to access NetLearning.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions about Passwords in myNetLearning 1. How will I log into NetLearning if previously to June 5 I did not have a password? a. You will log in with the new temporary password, your last name and your first initial (John Smith would be smithj ). b. After logging in the first time you will be prompted to change to a password of your choice.

2. What will the default temporary password be? a. Default passwords will be your last name and first initial. For example, Susan Adams will have a default password of “adamss” 3. Do I need to take any action? a. No, other than if you didn't previously use a password, knowing your default password. 4. How will I be reminded of this change to NetLearning? a. For most all UnityPoint Health employees, their UnityPoint health email address has been loaded into NetLearning. The easiest option is to use the Forgotten Password button on learner login page. 6. Will non-employee learners also be required to use a password? a. Yes 7. Will managers, directors and others still have access to the myTeam tab? a. Yes, what all users see in myNetLearning will not change because of this new requirement 8. Who will not have their password changed? a. Any user with who had a previous password, or had an admin role will keep their current password. 9. What changes will I see in my system once this is in place? a. Password will always be required for everyone and you will not be able to change this. b. New learners imported will be required to enter a default password, for example, Susan Adams will have a default password of “adamss”, upon first login 10.
