S EEKING VOLUNTEER GUIDES 2018 ARCHITECTOURS EDITION ! Do you want to share your passion for the city and its heritage? Would you like to contribute to the team of guides and enjoy a rewarding volunteer experience. We are currently recruiting volunteer guides for the 2018 edition of ArchitecTours to be presented in August, September and October. Qualifications University student, graduate or someone with a solid knowledge of one of these fields: architecture, urban planning, built heritage conservation, history or any other relevant field of study. Knowledge and interest in the history of our city, its architecture, urban planning and/or heritage Excellent public speaking skills (English or French). Interest in research, ability to summarize and to create guided tour scenarios. Ability to work effectively as a team member. . Responsibilities Mandatory participation in 4 training sessions and an evaluation (May and June, 2018). Based on an outline scenario, complete the research and consolidate it into a guided tour scenario. Be available in July and August to prepare the guided tours. Participate in group practice visits.
