Senior Credit Controller We are currently looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our management accounts department. As part of the Management Accounts team you will have strong communication skills and will be able to build good relationships and be proactive in the collection of balances due to the business and clients.

Main responsibilities:  Take responsibility for chasing variety of amounts due across the business including overpayments and outstanding fees.

 Chasing overdue debts by telephone, email & letter within agreed time-scales.  Resolving customer queries in a timely manner.  Making collection calls, maintaining a professional approach at all times.  Working as part of the team to ensure collection and query targets are met.  Maintain accurate records for all account activity.  Process and respond to incoming post on a daily basis.  Administer customer credit/debit card payments.  Post payments to accounts and allocate and undertake account reconciliations as required.  Opening new customer accounts and completing appropriate checks.  Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc duties when required  Taking the lead with any legal process to recover outstanding amounts.  Producing weekly credit control report to update key stakeholders on progress.  Attendance at team meetings.

Minimum requirements:  6 Standard GCSE grades C or above including Maths & English.  Credit control (minimum 2 years).  Regular use of Microsoft Office Applications at a competent level.  Passion for 100% accuracy and relishes deadline targets.  Professional approach in dealing with clients.

 Excellent attention to detail.  Ability to work well under pressure.  Possess a pragmatic approach to problem solving.  Team orientated but also have the ability to work under own initiative.  Possess a confident demeanor and be highly self-motivated.  Ability to prioritise workloads and multitask.  Possess a “right first time” attitude.  Are within commutable distance from Altrincham.
