About M&P M&P is a digital company builder. We invent web applications and turn them into successful businesses. In the past, we have developed a PDF parsing engine which connects Insurance brokers with insurers: Sobrado. We have helped build a business which provides a gift vouchers to employees: Bontique. We have developed a conference management system which publishes photos 5 minutes after they have been taken, using WiFi-enabled photo cameras, an iOS companion app and a Zend Framework based web application: Evenito. M&P was founded in 2010 and has been growing organically ever since. Currently we’re a total of 17 People in Minsk and Zurich. Our engineers have all senior level. One of our main goal is to have interesting and challenging projects. Everyone should enjoy their work and be able to learn something new every day. We don’t believe in growing at any price. We love our team and want them to feel happy. Because with a happy team M&P gets the best results. Our Tech-Stack is Python 3.6 (with Django) on which we built our own set of Django Apps: METRO. As frontend technology we’re using VueJS along with ECMAScript 2015. These apps are the building blocks for new StartUps.
Role We're looking for a talented JavaScript developer with good Python skills to participate in building modules for our METRO framework. These modules include both Django-Code and VueJS components so it’s best if you know both technologies. Also, you will be using our modules to build new applications for the StartUps we serve. You will be working very closely with the customer in Switzerland and have an impact on the features of the products we build. We have Quality assurance specialists teaming up with you.
Basics • • •
Minimum 3 years of experience Graduated in Computer Science Smart, passionate personality with a high awareness for delivering good quality.
Languages Good English is required for communicating with the customer.
Skills • • • • • • • •
VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS or other modern ECMAScript6/JavaScript frameworks Strong Python 3.5+ and Django skills Knowledge of CSS Familiar with tools like Jira, Docker, Jenkins, Github Linux and basic DevOps knowledge Experienced in working in a team environment and good communication skills Comfortable in working in an environment with mature development structures like Scrum, Code Review, Unit testing. If you are a quick learner it is okay not to meet some of these requirements.
