The DIPS pod contains an ignitor dipping mechanism, a coaxial gas / electric ignitor and a stirrer drive mechanism.

Automatic interface with advanced software

The Test Area comprises a liquid bath, bath temperature probes, sample temperature probe, flash detector and sample cup with lid and sliding shutter. The hotplate of the Universal Base Unit heats the bath.

The Universal Base Unit recognises the Test Module that has been installed and automatically loads the stirrer speed, temperature ramp, dipping interval parameters and calibration data all as specified in the test method.

Sub-ambient tests can be carried out using the Universal Cooling module (34008-0) and an external cryostat. Sample Prt

Fast cool-down after a test The required Universal Cooling Module (34008-0) allows water of a cryostat to be used for bath filling, rapid cooling and sub ambient tests. Unique ignition system The unique coaxial ignitor provides both gas and electric (hotwire) ignition sources.
