Noodsberg Summer League Hockey 2017 Noodsberg Country Club is very excited to be starting a Summer League Hockey Tournament next year. Matches will be played every second Thursday at the Noodsberg Country Club. Time:
Junior League: 16:15 – 17:15 Senior League: 17:30 – 19:00
Dates: 26 Jan, 9 & 23 Feb, 9 & 23 March 2017
The aim of the junior league is for children to have FUN, make new friends & enjoy their hockey whilst gaining valuable preseason practice.
The Junior Summer League is open to children in Grades 1 to 7 and entries are on an individual basis. Children will be spilt into mixed teams with children of similar ages. Each team will be accompanied by a senior player who will manage and coach them. Children will need to bring their own hockey stick, and are required to wear shin pads and a gum guard to all sessions. Cost: R70 per child payable at registration.
The Senior Summer League is open to adults & children in high school and entries are on a team basis. The league will be a social league played in a round robin format. Matches will be played on a ½ field (8-a-side). Teams may have a minimum of 8 players, and a maximum of 12 players. There may not be more than 4 male players on the field at any time. Players may only play for one team throughout the league. Cost: R100 per person.
