GENERAL:
Production wells require Pressure, Temperature, Density, Fluid Capacitance, Flowmeter (At least two fluid identification tools are recommended). The Gamma Ray tool will identify radio-active scale which is often associated with water production. The Gas Holdup Tool is an additional fluid identification tool which responds to gas but is relatively insensitive to oil / water ratio. Injection wells require Pressure, Temperature and Flowmeter. Pressure data can be used to evaluate injection well skin damage and string losses. Completion problems require Temperature and Flowmeter with Pressure optional for evaluation of leak flowrates at different pressures. Depth correlation is by Gamma Ray or by CCL if a GR/CCL completion log has previously been recorded recorded. Multi Finger Caliper logging is a specialised separate service to monitor corrosion or scale build up and locate holes in tubulars.
