This all-inclusive workshop is designed to strengthen the experienced songwriter’s skill set through assignments and class interaction with an emphasis on workshop sessions with working industry songwriters and professionals in publishing, music licensing, A&R, promotion and legal. This workshop works best when there are enough people to share ideas and songs – a group not too large – not too small. Space is limited –so don’t wait to apply! PRE-REQUISITE: This workshop is not geared towards the beginning songwriter. It is designed to assist the more experienced artist/songwriter in advancing in their craft while networking and developing their own songwriting projects. The Collective’s other programs are structured to be open to all songwriters regardless of skill set. [email protected] Songs may have been cowritten. Your submission will be reviewed quickly and you will be contacted regarding your acceptance into this workshop. The production and recording quality is secondary to the song. A simple recording with a vocal and lyric that is clear is all that is required. Moderated by the Collective’s Founder - Peter Bliss (www.peterbliss.com) and is held at his “Planet Studio” recording facility or under special circumstances in the same building in another space. Industry Guests will be announced in NOTE: If you have participated in any Songwriter Hall Of Fame / SGA / SESAC / ASCAP / BMI / NSAI workshops in the past - please get in touch regarding acceptance into the workshop.
