9. CEU Code: Many attendees must receive appropriate credit for attending the sessions at the conference. For this reason we have developed a process to verify attendance in sessions. You will need to announce the CEU code to attendees at the end of each session. Many attendees are new and are not familiar with the CEU code process so by announcing this at the end of your session, it will help the new attendee understand the process. a. What if I cannot locate my CEU code? If you are unable to locate your CEU Code, the speed learning moderator should have a record of your code. You may also use your first and last initial, followed by the last three digits of your session program book number. For example, for this session: Program Book #: 2395 Presenters: Joe Smith, Nancy Johnson The CEU code will be “JS-395” 10. Guided Presentation: a. Introduce yourself and have attendees give their name and job title. b. Give attendees your plan on how the speed learning session will proceed. This should include your time limit on questions and the expectation that they will proceed quickly from your table when the session is over. c. Highlight quickly what problems/solutions this session would solve for participants on their jobs. d. Distribute 1 to 2 pages of information that would hold their interest after leaving your roundtable. e. Include on your handout your contact information (if desired) so that they can also contact you after the event.
