DIVE IN TO THE SPRING HILL THINK TANK
FutureNet will be looking to the past and re-imagining the future in the second event for 2015. Doing more with less will be the theme of the night where Brisbane must re-use disused spaces and the role of built environment professionals will blur across disciplines. Participants will hear from the esteemed heritage expert Malcolm Elliot and receive information on the study area, the heritage listed Spring Hill Reservoir. Following that we will be thinking outside the box and reimagining the study area and looking to the future in a workshop facilitated by Cameron Perkins and Craig Addley from the Urban Design Alliance Queensland. The ideas and outcomes of the event will form the basis of a submission to be provided to Brisbane City Council during the consultation period of the Wickham Park Precinct Plan.
