Ballroom Dancing

Tae Kwon Do is both an art and a philosophy. This entry level Tae Kwon Do class is an excellenet tool for your child to build selfconfidence, learn discipline and improve coordination in a safe, fun-filled environment. Tiny Dancers Ages 3-5

Sports Conditioning Ages 11-13

Salsa and Bachata Class

This class is designed for beginner students to learn the fundamentals of the Modern Style Bachata and Salsa. Learn footwork, timing, and basic partnering for both styles of dance. No prior experience or partner necessary. Fri 8:10- 9:10 pm (Bremen Street)

BODY Meltdown Boot Camp

Fast-paced, interval style training to motivate you to excel beyond your current fitness level. Agility drills, body resistance training, plyometrics, core, and speed work will boost you into high gear. Weightlifting for Women

Plyo-HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

Strength training including weight lifting and use of resistance equipment offers women a host of positive health benefits from increasing bone density and building strength to fighting heart disease. Free weights, dumbbells, machines, body resistance and stability balls will be used. Wed 11:00 am-Noon (Bremen Street)

Tabata Bootcamp

Tabata Bootcamp is a group training program that is based on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) using the 20-10 Microburst Training Protocol. Group members receive an easy and individually formatted program that will result in true, successful weight loss and muscle gain. Tues and Thu 5- 5:30 pm (Bremen Street)

Progressive TRX

This is a TRX Training Series in which you will start from the basics and progress each week into more complex exercises. Develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability using the TRX system. Tues 6:30- 7:30 pm (Ashley Street)

TRX Pro

Leverage your own bodyweight and gravity in this class that develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. This class is for participants who have experience with TRX. Thu 6:30-7:30 pm (Ashley Street)

This high impact class is perfect for advanced exercisers looking to bring their cardiovascular training to the next level. The class is intense, challenging and rewarding. This class is only appropriate for those without any restrictions or injuries and have been exercising vigorously for at least 6 months. Y Sanity

A high intensity Interval Training class which focuses on both cardiovascular and muscular fitness. Increase your metabolism and decrease the inches on your body with this fun, easy to follow workout. Leave this safe and effective class with a great sense of accomplishment. LEARN TO SWIM AT THE CHARLESTOWN Y The Charlestown Y is located just a few miles away from the East Boston Y. Take advantage of being a member of the YMCA of Greater Boston and visit the Charlestown Y’s year-round indoor pool. Every day, kids in our neighborhood are learning lifesaving swimming skills thanks to the Y’s highly trained, caring instructors who guide students with praise and encouragement. Active Older Adult Fitness Training

Increase flexibility, improve bone density, and develop better balance in this class. We will utilize the treadmill, bike and strength equipment. Thu 9:00- 10:00 am (Bremen Street)

Mom and Baby Fitness

New moms increase strength, using babies for resistance in addition to a variety of other equipment. Along with great bursts of cardio to help shed baby weight. A fun class appropriate for all levels of fitness. Exercise can usually resume 6 weeks post-partum. Tues 10:30- 11:30 am (8- 18 months) Thu 8:30- 9:30 am (0- 8 months)

Pre/Post Natal Fitness

Team Training Challenge (Spring 2)

This program will include pre and post bodt composition assessments, a once a week training session with a personal trainer in a small group, weekly workout plans from your personal trainer, and a free nutrition seminar. Winning team will receive 3 one hour training sessions!
