1, 2, 3 Move with Me @ Central

AGES 0-5 MONDAYS | 10:30 AM APR 2-MAY 21

This active half-hour music and movement program encourages children to dance, sing, and learn hand motions to favorite childhood songs. Space is limited.Tickets will be handed out at the youth services desk before the program.

Stuffed Animal Storytime @ Auburn

AGES 0-3 TUESDAYS | 10:30 AM APR 3-MAY 22

Bring a stuffed animal to the library for stories, singing, playing and a craft! This half hour storytime is a good first library program for young children.

Play Central @ Central

AGES 0-2 WEDNESDAYS | 10-11:30 AM APR 4 - MAY 23

An open play program for parents and caregivers interested in nurturing the early literacy development of children through play. Check out Storytime Station, offered at 3 convenient times during Play Central.

Storytime Station @ Central

AGES 0-2 WEDNESDAYS | 10, 10:30 OR 11 AM APR 4 - MAY 23 This 20-minute storytime features lots of rhymes, fingerplays, and songs--perfect for the youngest children. Space is limited. Tickets will be handed out at the youth services desk before the program.

1, 2, 3 Play with Me @ Hall

AGES 0-3 THURSDAYS | 10:30 AM APR 5-MAY 24 Enjoy the library’s collection of toddler toys during open play in the children’s program room. At 11:15, you have the option of coming upstairs to the picture book alcove for a short storytime full of fun rhymes and fingerplays.

Sing-Along Storytime @ Oak Lawn

AGES 2-5 FRIDAYS | 10:30 AM APR 6-MAY 25 Join us for a half hour of stories, music, and songs. This program helps children develop listening skills through rhythm and rhyme.

For Ages 3-5 These programs are especially designed for older preschool children. They incorporate longer stories and activities that require small motor skills. Younger siblings are welcome, but not all activities will be appropriate for younger children.

I-Spy Storytime @ Hall

Put your detective skills to work as we read stories, solve puzzles, and create crafts in this half-hour storytime program.

Scribbler Storytime @ Central

AGES 3-5 TUESDAYS | 10:30 AM APR 3-MAY 22 Knead play dough, trace letters in corn meal, lace your crown: pre-writing activities to develop fine motor skills in tiny hands all based on a story or two.
