Cross off or color in each day you do an activity and/or reading time. Come in to the library to get stickers for your completed days!
Each WEEK you visit the library, you get a free activity. One per child per week.
After JULY 29 turn this sheet in and get a free book!
FAQ for Grown-Ups Should I read to my baby? Yes! Don’t worry if your baby can’t sit still for a whole story; let them move around, manipulate (touch and taste) the book. Talk to them about what you see in the book and don’t worry about reading the exact text. What if my child can’t read independently yet? Don’t worry! Reading aloud is a great way to build vocabulary, teach kids that reading can be fun, and help them build comprehension. What if we don’t do every activity? You can still turn your log in for a special surprise, even if you haven’t marked off every single day! What if I lose my calendar? You can pick up another calendar at the library, free of charge! If you forget to bring your calendar in, you can still get your weekly surprise and a sticker to take home! Are there more library events for children? Yes! Check out the summer program calendar or the library’s website online to see a full list of activities with dates and times.
