Happy Holidays! I cannot believe we are approaching the end of the year already. What a fascinating year we have had; immigration in the spotlight and changes mandated, potential new tax regulations impacting how we handle relocation expenses, hurricanes and much more... 2018 is shaping up to be an interesting year of blazing new paths in our industry. I am looking forward to working through it all with you!

Upcoming Events: 2018 SRRC Spring Conference

The SRRC Board of Directors met at the Marriott Resort Ft. Lauderdale Pompano Beach the first week of December to finalize 2017, welcome our 2018 Board, and continue planning for the exciting events coming together for 2018. In addition to touring the facility to plan for the March event, we were very impressed overall with the service we received while at the meeting so believe that the Spring Conference will be well supported by the hotel staff. During the December board meeting we also discussed and have determined some bylaw recommendations which will be submitted to our members to vote on in March. Thank you all for sharing this year with me. It has been an honor to serve in this role. Even though there were a lot of unexpected happenings, I value SRRC and all that we learn together each year. As we move into the holidays and year end activities, I would like to say thank you to each of you for your membership and contributions throughout the year. 2018 Spring Conference

Mark your calendars! Our 2018 Spring Conference will take place on March 21st & 22nd at the beautiful Marriott Resort Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach, right on the ocean. Registration will open after the holidays, so keep checking srrconline.com for details. Our planned agenda will include a session on the impacts to relocation programs due to tax legislation, a valuable and insightful session on RFPs, a session on building and changing relocation and mobility policies, and of course, our corporate panelists who will take your questions on the hot topics of the day. Corporate participants will be able to share ideas and discuss challenges in a closed corporate roundtable session on the morning of March 21st, so plan your travel accordingly. Our dinner event on the evening of March 21st is onsite and will have beautiful views overlooking the beach! We look forward to great networking, education, and idea sharing! As always, if you are interested in supporting the conference, being a speaker, or have recommendations for speakers, please contact anyone on the programs committee!
