The current study investigated the effect of stage duration on physiological variables commonly used to determine maximal aerobic performance during cycle ergometry.
& O2max: 52.5 ± Ten recreationally trained males (age: 27.8 ± 7.1 yrs; BMI: 24.3 ± 2.5 kg·m-2; V 5.9 ml·kg-1·min-1) performed three different stage duration protocols on two separate occasions.
