Step by Step: Add Brushes to Photoshop Elements Before you can add a brush to your Photoshop Elements program you must extract the files in the scrap kit folder. Not sure how to extract the files? Use my step by step tutorial, Extracting Zipped Files. http://studioonthecorner.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html Step One: Open Photoshop Elements Step Two: Click on Brushes in the Tool Box. A menu bar will open showing various options.

Step Three: Click on the tiny arrow pointing downward Show Selected Brush Presets. A box showing the currently selected brush will open. On the right side of the box you will see two tiny arrows pointing toward the right.

Step Four: Click on the two tiny arrows pointing toward the right. A drop down menu will appear. Scroll down and click on Load Brushes

Step Five: Search through your folders until you find the brushes you wish to use. Click on the brush and then click Load.

Now your selected brush is ready to use on your scrapbook layout.
