I will attend all scheduled class hours and will come prepared for class. If I have to drop out of the class, I will tell my teacher or the office staff the reason and I will not be required to receive advising if I return in another term. If I stop coming to class without letting my teacher or the staff know, I will receive advising before enrolling in another term. I will treat teachers, employees and other students with respect. I understand the any of the following will be considered grounds for referral to the dean of Student Services, followed by disciplinary action, which may include dismissal from the program and all City Colleges of Chicago: 1) Physical or verbal abuse, harassment or intimidation of any kind 2) Possession of a weapon on City Colleges of Chicago property or in off-campus site facilities 3) Disruptive behavior of any kind in college and/or off-campus facilities 4) Defacing City Colleges of Chicago property or off-campus site facilities (including, but not limited to, walls, furniture, books, and equipment) 5) Theft of any item on City Colleges of Chicago property or in off-campus site facilities 6) Use of drugs and/or alcoholic beverages 7) Gambling 8) Use of cellular phones in the classrooms, libraries, laboratories, or other college and/or off-campus facilities 9) Smoking on any college campus and/or in off-campus facilities, including halls and washrooms 10) Plagiarism or cheating on assignments or tests 11) Violation of the City Colleges of Chicago Responsible Computer Use Policy (See Instructor or Lab Aide for policy information) I understand that the following attire is prohibited; clothing with offensive language and pictures, and clothing or hair styles that represent gang affiliation and thathats and head coverings must be removed by men and women upon entering all City Colleges of Chicago facilities.
