Student Tutorial for Edmodo.com To create an account: Your teacher will give you a group code to access your class page. Go to www.Edmodo.com. You will see the screen below: Choose I’m a student.

This screen will appear. Enter the group code. Create a user name. Create a password you can remember. Enter your first and last name. Click the box that you agree to the privacy policy. Then click sign up.

You are now on the class page. Here you can update your profile, see what if you have any quizzes, polls, or discussions you need to respond to or download any assignments your teacher has posted.

Creating a Post:

You can create a post by clicking in the post box and typing your question or response. You can attach files, links or items from your backpack to your post. By clicking on the down arrow in the send to box, you can choose who you would like to see your post. Then click send.

Answering a Poll:

Your teacher can create a poll for you to answer. Click on your response and then the vote button.

You are able to see how others in your class are responding!

Completing a Quiz: Your teacher has the ability to create quizzes for the class in Edmodo. These will appear in the post section of the page. The quiz may have a deadline so be sure to check the page frequently

Click “take quiz.”

Click “start quiz.”

Click on your answer choice. Then click the arrow and proceed to the next question. Continue until you reach the end of the quiz. When you are finished, click the submit quiz button.

If you are finished, click yes. If you want to change an answer, click no. This will take you back to the quiz.

Depending on the settings your teacher used when creating this quiz, you will see the number of questions completed, how long it took, and possibly your grade. You can click on the “What did you think of this quiz” emoticons to share your feelings with your teacher.
