ON STAGE 2015

with the Missoula Children’s Theatre prepare for the Garde st age!

The GARDE ARTS CENTER & MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE invite your child to participate in an unforgettable summer theater experience. In one week, your child (ages 6-16) will take classes in acting, movement, stagecraft makeup, and participate as actors, singers, dancers, stagehands and assistant directors in an original large-cast musical.

Week One

SLEEPING BEAUTY

CLASSES & REHEARSAL Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 10 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

PERFORMANCES Saturday, July 11 11:00 am & 2:00 pm

Five hundred years pass, and Sleeping Beauty wakes to find herself in a Rock ‘n’ Roll dream! This fairy tale with a twist is definitely no sleeper!

When Captain Hook sends his right-hand man on a quest to capture Peter Pan, it’s seemingly business as usual…at first. Little does Hook realize what adventures await him and his pirate posse.

Week Three

THE LITTLE MERMAID



A mermaid and her sisters were allowed one visit to the World Above, each on their sixteenth birthday. Their discoveries included ferocious dragons, advancing armies and, of course, a handsome and resourceful Prince Charming.

KATE ESKRA FIORAVANTI, Coordinator, SUMMER ON STAGE

Kate brings years of educational and arts experience, teaching PK-12 and performing herself since she was a child. During the school year, Kate is the New London District Arts Supervisor who leads the Arts Magnet schools pathway for New London Public Schools. Under her direction and with Missoula and Garde faculty, SOS focuses on every child’s self-expression and theatrical experience in a unique and innovative week like none other.
