Important Instructions Congratulations on the purchase of your new Lone Star Racing Suzuki Z400 Round Housing Swingarm. When installing your new swingarm, it will be necessary to reuse your original dust caps and seals, pivot bolt, and hardware. If you have changed the length of your Swingarm or the size of your sprocket, you may need a new brake line and/or chain. Remove your stock swingarm. Grease your front pivot bearings and bearing housing. Put your new swingarm onto the bike using the stock pivot bolt, and hardware. Then attach the shock linkage. Slide the greased bearing housing into your swingarm. Now slide the small aluminum adjustment bushing onto the spud that is located on the rear right hand side of the swingarm. Next, slide the caliper mounting plate over the bearing housing, and align the adjustment bushing so it fits into the slot in the caliper plate. Now install the supplied snap ring into the groove around the bearing housing to finalize this assembly. Install your axle, and all of the hubs and locknuts. Install your chain. To obtain the correct tension, rotate the bearing housing using the supplied adjusting tool, then tighten the pinch bolts on the rear of the swingarm. When installing your skid plate, it will be necessary to drill a few new holes in the skid plate to mount it properly to the LSR Swing Arm. Regular maintenance, including keeping your swingarm clean, and the bearings greased, will provide you years of trouble free riding.
