OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES Enter to Win a CompTIA A+ Voucher and a Sybex Study Guide 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING. Open and offered only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States (excludes Alaska and Hawaii), 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of CompTIA Certifications, LLC and Sybex. ("Sponsors"), and any of their parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, licensees, advertising, promotion, or production agencies and web masters/suppliers (and their respective IRS defined dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. All entries and submitted materials become the exclusive property of the Sponsors and will not be returned. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 2. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: An individual will receive a drawing entry based on his/her participation in Sponsors’ information gathering efforts. A participant will be asked to access a website operated by the Sponsors and enter certain requested information. Once a participant completes and submits the requested information, participant will receive one entry into the drawing. A final grand-prize winner will be randomly selected by Sponsors from all of the eligible entries into the Enter to Win a CompTIA A+ Voucher and a Sybex Study Guide contest (the “Contest”). 3. HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter: (1) Via Website: Visit http://www.pages04.net/comptia/sybex_education/ between 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (CT) October 1, 2013, and 5:59:59 p.m. Central Time (CT) November 23, 2013, click on the Contest link, which will take you to a webpage where you will be asked to provide certain information. Complete all required fields and then the “SUBMIT” button on the page. Your completed submission must be received by 5:59:59 p.m. November 23, 2013. You will receive an entry into the drawing for completing and submitting the requested information. (2) By Mail: To enter by mail, sign and also hand-print or type Enter to Win a CompTIA A+ Voucher and a Sybex Study Guide, your name, complete address (including zip code), age, email address, and daytime phone number on a 3” x 5” card or piece of paper. Failure to comply with this or any other official rule will result in disqualification. Mail your entry in a first-class stamped envelope to: CompTIA Certifications, LLC, 3500 Lacey Road, Suite 100, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515 Attn: Lauren Pray, postmarked by November 23, 2013, and received by November 30, 2013. Copies, facsimiles and mechanical reproductions are void. Limit one (1) entry per participant regardless of the method of entry. Participants may enter the drawing exclusively by either method. Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. 4. DRAWING: All eligible entries will be reviewed by Sponsors to verify eligibility. Eligible entries will be entered into a drawing to be conducted by Sponsors on December 2, 2013.

Sponsors shall randomly draw one participant’s entry to receive the Grand Prize. Drawing results are final. The winner will be notified by email if participant provided a valid email address or by mail if participant did not provide an email address. 5. GRAND PRIZE: A CompTIA A+ Voucher and the CompTIA A+ Complete Study Guide, 2nd Edition by Sybex. 6. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. 7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither Sponsors nor their agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, incomplete, illegible, stolen, returned, postage due or undelivered entries, or e-mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or network, or incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information, or the failure to capture any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Contest, as solely determined by the Sponsors, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Sponsors are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' computers or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest or downloading materials from or use of the website. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsors’ opinions, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes, which, in the opinion of the Sponsors, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, and select the winner from entries received prior to such action taken and from all mail-in entries, or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsors. Sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, and assume no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the Sponsors’ website. In case of dispute, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the promotion at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant, and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider, or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. 8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participants agree that: (a) Sponsors, and their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and are released and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for: (i) damages arising out of entrants breach of their representations and warranties in Paragraph 3 above; and (ii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to

persons, including death, or to property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Contest or in any contest-related activity; and (b) winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsors (and agrees to confirm such agreement in writing) and those acting pursuant to either of their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice, and/or likeness and prize information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without further compensation, at any times or time, in all media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on the internet, without notice or review or approval. Winner will be required to complete, sign, and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release, where lawful. If affidavits/releases are not returned within seven (7) days of date of receipt, or winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Taxes on prize are solely winner’s responsibility. Should the prize be won by a minor in his/her jurisdiction of primary residence, prize will be awarded to minor’s parent/legal guardian, and all affidavits, releases, and undertakings set forth in these Official Rules must be executed and undertaken by the parent/legal guardian. 9. WINNER’S LIST: For name of the grand-prize winner, mail your name and complete address in a first-class stamped envelope for receipt by December 9, 2013, to the co-Sponsor’s address listed in Section 10. 10.
