A great opportunity for an experienced System engineer to join a leading IT integration and support company located in CBD, As a result of continued growth, an opportunity has opened for an Experienced engineer to join our dynamic team during a very exciting time for the organisation. The role is to provide Technical support and guidance to our broad range of existing customers, as well as assisting in developing, implementing and supporting enterprise level projects. The person must have the ability to effectively interface with customers, system vendors and management. Virtualisation, Storage requirements, Disaster Recovery & Business continuity, server consolidation, Networking are some of the technologies where we are focussed and working with customers. In order to be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate competency and experience with the following: • • • • • • •
Minimum 5+ Years experience in the IT industry Experience in the setup, installation and support of VMware 3.5 & Vsphere Knowledge of Storage systems such as EMC, HP and Net App Understanding of SAN architecture and basic principles Knowledge of HP mid range systems Knowledge of Cisco, HP Networking products Ability to investigate and resolve technical issues (software and hardware)
Desire Qualifications: Microsoft MCP/MCTS VMware Certified Professional – VCP CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate EMC Clariion specific
