NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

HOME, PROHIBITION AND EXCISE DEPARTMENT Amendments to Notification under Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. [G.O. Ms. No. 67, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III), 28th October 2009.] No. II(1)/HOPE/40/2009.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No. II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, dated the 1st May 1981, published at page 2 of Part II—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:—

AMENDMENT In the said Notification, in the Annexure, under the heading ‘‘MEDIUM BRANDS’’, under the sub-heading ‘‘Thiruvalargal Southern Agrifurane Industries Limited’’, after the entry ‘‘White Mischief Vodka’’, the following entries shall be added, namely:— “White Mischief Premium Brandy. Olde Adventurer Deluxe XXX RUM.’’. [G.O. Ms. No. 69, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III), 30th October 2009.] No. II(1)/HOPE/41/2009.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No. II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, dated the 1st May 1981, published at page 2 of Part II—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:—

AMENDMENTS In the said Notification, in the Annexure,— (1) under the heading ‘‘ORDINARY BRANDS’’, (a) under the sub-heading “Thiruvalargal Mohan Breweries and Distilleries Limited”, after the entry ‘‘Old Monk Deluxe Rum’’, the following entries shall be added, namely:— ‘‘Vorion No. 1 Indian Classic Whisky Vorion No. 1 Indian Classic XXX RUM Vorion No. 1 Indian Brandy”; (b) under the sub-heading “Thiruvalargal Elite Distilleries (Private) Limited”, after the entry ‘‘Shot OLP Brandy’’, the following entries shall be added, namely:— ‘‘Honiey Day Deluxe Brandy Arabian Pride Deluxe XXX RUM Honiey Day Super Fine Whisky’’.; (2) under the heading “MEDIUM BRANDS’’,— (a) under the sub-heading “Thiruvalargal Mohan Breweries and Distilleries Limited”, after the entry ‘‘Diplomat Deluxe Select Whisky’’ the following entries shall be added, namely:—
