Technology becomes now a day’s one of the most effective source for everything including teaching. In the past education was very limited to books and teachers. Outcome of education was not high like we have now. There are many ways we can use technology to improve teaching in schools and universities in both academic and practical fields. We need to put good structure for those who involved in teaching particularly health care and clinical teaching to get the maximum benefit and to delete vet teaching in high quality all this will be reflected to the outcome of student’s quality. We need to put basic data to enable health professional not only to have knowledge and clinical skills but also to have the ability to keep their knowledge up to date and to keep continuous professional development. All this need to happen with changes in our minds and also changes in circumstances to know what is the aim of teaching and how to deliver it through people who are interested in teaching and believe in its strategy and importance. In clinical and medical teaching we need to use modern technology but not to eg or the face to face teaching which I think it is important to keep some social communication between student and teacher which is good to put human factor to teaching process. Although some clinicians are not so good in technology and need some help from technicians to put technology into practice so I believe it is important for those who are involved in teaching process to be dated about the medical technology and modern online resources to make them familiar with this staff to use them in teaching. Study has been designed to know strategy which can help to improve the teaching not only by using skills and knowledge but go beyond this and use the modern technology.(Michael Rowe 2013)

Aims of Using Technology in Education Schools now started to put plans and consider technology is the heart of this plan to improve teaching and learning. Improve and enhance teaching is another aim as well as open and explore ways of future working through using modern technology.

Successful Practice By using technology we are not replacing the teaching process but we are enhancing it and improving the way we learn. Teachers should explain to students how to use technology and also open their mind to understand the lesson more efficiently and new way of thinking and make their leaning enjoyable and easy to administer. Also when we use modern technology we remove the barriers to learn something and create good atmosphere to teaching and try to full fill each student’s needs.

Good Technical Support Schools should have good team for using and supporting technology to enable students use it easy and do maintain care of equipment of technology to make teaching process easy and enjoyable to both students and teachers.so excellent infrastructure needed to deliver teaching with technology.

Student Using Technology Students need to be encourage to use technology and we need to teach them how to use it and do every effort to offer them modern technology to help them in their learning, schools now do their best to make it available for students in library and home study.

Staff support Teacher and educators need to be supported by schools and universities to make them ready and able to use technology. Offer those courses and training to be up to date for technology and modern approaches for teaching process.

Technology to Enhance Medical Teaching There are wide range of methods we use now in medical education and assessment process 2

In undergraduates teaching we use online materials and power point in class teaching and we use modern simulators in clinical sessions. Using modern techniques has become more effective now days and time safer. Although other methods of teaching still have be fit like formal lecture and class discussion which is good to have communication with your student and make them familiar with each other and also make them give feedback and you as a teacher can give them feedback regarding attitude and behaviour as well as their level of knowledge. In assessment we still use use work based assessment which is very effective and by using technology we can explore more ways of assessment like online exam and presentation skills.

Technology and parents Technology has helped schools to be in contact with parents through letters, calls, and emails to let them aware about their children’s situation and engage in teaching process To improve their level or to put plan and give their views to schools to make proper teaching strategy or to modify current plan. Also many schools had helped parents to be aware about modern technology as they given them courses in IT to make them able to support their children.

Simulations We have now a days Avery effective way of teaching particularly medial teaching by using simulator, I remember when I was a medical student 20 years ago, at that time there was no simulation or video conference or any other kind of technology so in surgical practice I had to travel long distance just too enter theatre and watch certain surgery or to see particular patient with certain diseases for example to listen to heart murmurs in a child with VSD or to see patient with hepatosplenomegaly. Extra It was time consuming and exhausted for me as a student to do all this to get some clinical skills. Now we have simulators which we can use to see and listen as if you are I real case so teacher can explain and teach and student also can get clinical knowledge and put plan for treatment which will make him confident and organised and can do the 3

same in real life and on the other hand teacher don't teach on real patient and their life in risk and also for confidentiality. (hodkinson2001) Also using simulators to put scenarios for clinical exam will be easy with modern technology In surgery junior doctors can learn using manikins like in case of endoscopy and intubation Or in case of approaching crash injury and bleeding or amputating limb Videoconference last play a role in teaching so I can follow any kind of surgery live and can communicate with surgeon and take advice In exam we now use simulators like manikin to test student for certain skill like introducing yourself to patient and do examination with some basic skills as auscultation and percussion A study done by martin2002 found that some practical skills can be thought to juniors without need to wait patient to do and the study compared the results from practicing on simulators and practicing on real patients , the end result was nearly the same putting into consideration that when we use simulator we do not put patient at risk.

Media If we need to talk specifically regarding the media and its role in education it one of the most important factors which helped in teaching and learning is media, there are different forms of media:

Audio video Using videoconferences in teaching or communications and share ideas and thoughts are of great help to Improve teaching and learning and also for improving of our knowledge about other communities and cultures.

Computer, Tablets, iPads, Smartphones, We use it every day in communications and transfer ideas, writing message to answer questions for students and also to study everywhere as it easy handle and you can carry it very simple and available for everyone.

Social networking It is a very common way of communication among people either for chatting or sharing ideas, also we can use Social media for study and probably transfer ideas between students and their tutors 4

Software There are multiple soft wares created to help teaching process and learning. Also in assessment there are much software for exam and mock tests which are very helpful do students who are approaching exam making them ready and fell confident entering their tests. There are also some software designed as game for kids teaching and learning to teach them basic science and some basic skills. (Becta 2008. 2009)

Side effects of Technology A study carried out by (Branford 2000 ) found that some technology like babies DVDs might harm babies and causing slips and wrong vocabulary compared to babies not watching DVDs so he mentioned not all technology have value in teaching but even May be harmful And lead to bad effects on teaching process. Another study done by Michael rich USA stated that using computers and cell phones will create generation with brain which will be wired differently and also make them very close to screen and looking forward to any new versions just to follow recent things not to involve in modern technology and take it as a method of learning. Dr Rich from Harvard medical school mentioned that over stimulation will be created as a result of using technology, which means our children will have their brain excited and stimulated at the beginning as neurotransmitter released brain become active and by time Exhumation and depression start to appear and children begin to lose their interest as a result. Particularly if children before 7 started to use technology an important developmental task may disappear and bad habit may a rise. Winner has argued the useful part of technology and he mentioned example of using robots in industry work places which has great help in production and quality of products but on the other hand it will impact the number of workers and also the process of production Seymour argued that technology puts us on a bad choice. He made example with old typewriter and using QWERTY arrangement of keys of keyboard and how it was arranged and although we have now the digital keyboard but still we use the same arrangement

In assessment there are many ways of using computers on assessment and exam But it will exclude the ability of teachers to perform formal exam and use their experience which they gain over years to teach and perform assessment, human factor will be lost if we still using technology at all times, As computer based assessment will not be able to measure skills and behaviours. Marc Pransky discussed the idea that teachers often use technology and they must keep the self-updated and learners should know first the way of technology to understand subjects and instead of focusing on ideas and studying we will lose time to understand how technology works Some teachers feel that no need to change the traditional way of learning as it was successful in the past .considering the fact that students will be vulnerable to impact of digital learning and its side effects. And also impact of how to assess students when we use technology as mentioned before and I do agree that using digital assessment might interfere with the process and good communication should be available to know students need and try to know each student needs and fulfil it.

Conclusion it is one of the most important invention in 20 century is use of modern technology and digital world but we have to use it with caution and put everything in right place otherwise we will lose our aim and side effects will be high, so we need to keep the balance which need wise and planning. I am not against using technology as we mentioned before but also I am very interested to keep old fashion ways of teaching like class room , blackboard and traditional lecturers which I believe help to increase students teachers relationship, because I am afraid we might lose it by time???
