This amendment is being raised to modify specifications, add Herbicide Application Specification and Reference Map, and modify the Price Form under solicitation 5P420-16-5138/A: A.

MODIFICATION TO SPECIFICATION

1. Insert Section 01 11 00 1.4.3.1 as follows: “.1 Application of herbicide to control selected species of weeds along the Legacy Trail and fence line within the project limits as directed by the Departmental Representative.” Renumber subsequent clauses. 2. “.1

Insert Section 01 11 00 1.8.4.1 as follows: Complete all herbicide application by September 15, 2016.”

Renumber subsequent clauses. 3. “.1

Insert Section 01 32 16.07 1.7.1.1 as follows: Complete all herbicide application by September 15, 2016.”

Renumber subsequent clauses. 4. “.16

Insert Section 32 31 26 1.4.1.16 as follows: Herbicide Application

.1 The Work under this item includes supply and application of herbicide in accordance with the Reference Documents. .2 Payment shall be made under “Unit Price Item 4 – Herbicide Application” and shall be measured by the square metre of herbicide acceptably applied within the dimensions of the areas disturbed during fencing installation and along the Legacy Trail as identified in the Reference Documents. Payment for herbicide application shall be full compensation of all labour, equipment, materials and incidentals required to supply and place the materials in accordance with the Contract Documents and direction of the Departmental Representative.” 5.

Delete Section 32 31 26 3.4.9.1.

Insert Section 32 31 26 3.4.9.1 as follows: “.1 .1 Removal, disposal and/or salvage and cleanup of existing fencing and gates as agreed with the Departmental Representative. Existing fencing shall be removed in such a manner to minimize disturbance to the ground and surrounding vegetation. Removal methods shall be as agreed with the Departmental Representative.” 6. “.11 B.

Insert Section 32 31 26 1.3.1.11 as follows: Herbicide Application” REFERENCE DOCUMENTS:

Canada may reject the bid if any of the prices submitted do not reasonably reflect the cost of performing the part of the work to which that price applies.
