TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1.
The Promoters are the Herald and Weekly Times Pty Ltd (ABN 49 004 113 937) of 40 City Road, Southbank Vic 3006 and Paramount Pictures Australia (ABN 85 008 573 171) of 208 Clarence St Sydney, NSW 2000.

Entry is only open to residents of Victoria aged fifteen or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters, directors, management, related companies, retailers, suppliers and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

One entry per person, multiple entries are not acceptable.

When and if you register, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself as prompted by the appropriate registration form. You acknowledge that if any inaccurate information is provided by you, your entry will be deemed invalid.

Competition begins 18/9/08 at 9.00am EST and closes 23/9/08 at 2.00pm EST. Winners will be drawn on 23/9/08 at 3.00pm at Herald and Weekly Times Pty Ltd (ABN 49 004 113 937) Level 11, 40 City Road, Southbank, VIC 3008. Winners will be notified by email and details to appear on the Herald Sun website on 24/9/08 • The first valid and eligible entry drawn will win an Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging Major prize pack. Prize pack consists of (1) signed movie poster, one (1) iPod shuffle, two (2) web cameras, one (1) The Hills S1&2 on DVD, one (1) digital photo key chain, one (1) lip gloss and one (1) in-season double pass (admit 2). Total prize value - $225.00 • An additional four (4) valid and eligible entries drawn will win one (1) of four (4) Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging consolation prize packs. Each prize pack consists of one (1) signed movie poster, one (1) The Hills S1&2 on DVD, one (1) digital photo key chain, one (1) lip gloss and one (1) in-season double pass (admit 2). Each prize worth $120.00 or total prize value $480.00. • Prize Restrictions:• Any additional charges, transport, spending money and any other incidentals are the responsibility of the winner. • Winner must be aged fifteen or over • Admit 2 people only • Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is Rated PG-13 for suggestive content involving young teens, and language.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The Promoters will not be responsible if the prizes or any part of the prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control. In the event of such cancellation, re-scheduling or unavailability of the prizes, the Promoters will endeavour but are not obliged to provide a substitute prizes of equivalent value.

The prize winners must, at the Promoter's request, participate in any marketing and promotional activity in relation to winning the prize, free of charge, and consent to the Promoter's using their name and image in such promotional material.

The Promoters are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The Promoters assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoters reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition

By entering this promotion, the entrant agrees that if they win, they and their guests who share their prize (who the entrant must make aware of these terms and conditions), must comply at all times with the following provisions regarding conduct: • At all times whilst in attendance at any cinema the winner and their guest will conduct themselves in a proper manner, having consideration for other patrons. Unruly and unreasonable behaviour is prohibited. Any behaviour that is considered unacceptable by the venue, event promoters or promoters of this competition will result in the person(s) being removed from the venue. • The winner will be required to reimburse the venue for all costs, expenses and liabilities arising from any breakage or damage to or loss of items caused by the winner and or their guest.

To the extent permitted by law, the winning entrant (and his/her companion) must exclude, release and forever discharge the Promoters and all other persons involved in the conduct, promotion and organisation of the WIN ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ prize packs competition and their respective employees, officers, agents and contractors from all liability for claims, loss, damage, cost or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising directly or indirectly (including, but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity, revenue or profit) or in connection with the participation in the relevant prize or attendance at any cinema or otherwise howsoever arising. The winning entrant (and his/her companion) must, on request of the Promoters, execute any and all documentation (if any) necessary to give effect to this clause.

We may share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in running this competition and for the purpose of provision of prizes. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to the State lottery department and winner’s name published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
