The 2nd Na�onal Conference of the Historians of the 19th Century Delations and Police Documents in the Research of the Historian of the 19th Century (until 1918) Warsaw, June 21-22, 2018 The Institute of History, University of Warsaw is inviting scholars and doctoral students to participate in the 2nd National Conference of the Historians of the 19th Century. The upcoming conference will be devoted to delations and police documents in Europe and in the world until 1918. This year we would like to invite to the discussion about the problem of delations and police documents in the following panels: · sources, typologies, editions, · research methodologies, frames of interpretation, theoretical approaches, · analyses and interpretations, case studies. We wish the discussions connected to delations and police documents focus on various problems such as: source studies, theoretical studies, social imageries, processes of social communication, as well as the role of delations and police acts in the creation of social relations. Our time span includes the First World War. The geographical scope of the papers is unlimited. The languages of the conference are Polish, English and Russian. Paper proposals should be sent to:

The organizers do not cover travel and accommodation expenses.
