Late night shopping We know how much of a rush it can be to get everything you need in the run-up to Christmas so we’re giving you a little extra time on Thursday 14th & 21st December to get the last of your shopping wrapped up!

FREE Gift Wrapping If gift wrapping gets you all in a fluster why not let our little helpers from Shooting Star Chase charity help you on your way to a stressfree Christmas. They’ll lovingly wrap your special gifts in exchange for a small donation to their cause. The charity gift wrapping will take place from 11am – 4pm on Saturday the 16th and 23rd of December, and from 11am – 5pm on Sunday the 17th and 24th of December.

Festive lifesaver from Sainsbury’s It happens every year – opening the door to an unexpected guest as that feeling of panic takes hold. Are they hungry? How long will they stay? What food do you have in the kitchen? Sainsbury’s are officially our saviour with these super easy mince pie toasties! That’s right, a festive classic in toastie form – just swap the bread for golden puff pastry for this 10 minute wonder. Here’s how to make them: Preheat your toastie machine. Cut the sheet of pastry into 4 squares, each the same size as the square in your toastie machine.

Divide the mincemeat between two of the pastry squares. Use a little beaten egg around the edge of the pastry, then press another square on top to create a parcel. Carefully place these in your toastie machine and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Meanwhile, whip some mascarpone with whisky. Serve the toasties cut in half with a spoonful of mascarpone cream, then dust lightly with icing sugar.
