Theta Phi Alpha Announces 2018 Senior Service Award Recipients

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio – Theta Phi Alpha and the Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Senior Service Awards. The Senior Service Award is bestowed upon a young woman whose scholarship, leadership, character, and service to our Fraternity and her school have been outstanding during her years as a collegian. The Advisory Board alumnae members of each Theta Phi Alpha chapter evaluates all applications and supporting documents to nominate a maximum of two women from each chapter for submission to our Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees then selects no more than one woman from each chapter to receive this prestigious award. Founded in 1912, Theta Phi Alpha is a women’s organization whose mission is to provide close comradeship; to advance educational, social, and philanthropic interests and leadership training; to encourage spiritual development and adherence to the highest moral standards; and to promote lifelong bonds of friendship. A fraternity for collegiate women and alumnae, Theta Phi Alpha was founded at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Today there are 58 active collegiate chapters, 35 alumnae associations and five alumnae clubs in the United States.
