Ball Valves ‘FM’ Floating and Truinnion Mounted Ball valves find applications for tight shut-off in oil & gas, petrochemicals, refineries, power, chemical and mining sectors.

‘FM’ Ball Valves are available in variety o f seat materials e.g. PTEF, Filled PTEF, Devlon, Nylon, Peek and PCTEF.

‘FM’ Metal to Metal seat Ball Valves are available with optional tungsten carbide / chromium oxide coated ball and seat rings - hardness of 70HRC suitable for extreme conditions of temperature, pressure and abrasive media.

• Trunnion and Stem Cover fix the Ball and absorb total thrust of the medium. Thus the downstream sealing is relieved of the load. • Pressure energized seat rings with spring assistance for preloading ensure leak tight performance even at low differential pressure. • Long operating life with low torque. • Anti blow out stem construction. • Anti static device standard. • Soft seating recommended for service temperature upto 260ºC. Metal to Metal seating offered for higher temperature services. • Metal to Metal seat ball valves for high temperature corrosive and abrasive slurry service have Tungsten carbide / Chromium Oxide coating by plasma spray technique on ball and seat to achieve approx. hardness of 70 HRC and hence providing 100% tight shutoff even at full pressure and elevated temperature conditions. High hardness of sealing surfaces results in low operating torque. • Specially designed die formed graphite packings, controlled clearances between steam and gland for guaranteed low emissions.
