Twin Lights Volunteer Recognition Dinner Thursday, April 25th 2013 To all Twin Lights Scouters: You are cordially invited to our Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Thursday, April 25th 2013 at the Yesterday’s in Hazlet to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the units and leaders of Twin Lights District. Yesterday’s in Hazlet is located at Route 35 & Hazlet Ave. Doors open at 7:00PM; followed by dinner at 7:30PM. (District Annual Business Meeting will start at 6:45PM) The highlight of the dinner will be the presentation of the District Award of Merit to several of our most deserving leaders. We are accepting nominations for the District Beacon Awards in which one leader from each unit can be nominated for demonstrating enthusiasm, hard work and a can-do spirit! The unit will present this award to their selected recipient at either the District Dinner or District Picnic. If you are a unit leader, and there are training, service, or camping awards that have been earned by your unit or individuals in your unit, please fill out the attached form(s) or other paperwork and return to Council by April 1st. Note also that each unit can recognize a particularly deserving leader with the Beacon Award. Dinner will be a buffet including salad, chicken francese , eggplant rollatini, penne alla vodka, mixed vegetables, etc. Please indicate below how many will attend in your party and return the form to Council by April 15th The cost is $30 per person, so join us for fun, fellowship, and recognition of the great Scouting that goes on in Twin Lights.
