The fans have always been at the core of the Orange Amplification Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, and it has become one of the biggest parties of the year for both the fans and the bands. This year, Motörhead will also be playing a live set to close the evening, which will be one of their most intimate performances in years. Previous winners of the Golden God Award include – Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and Iron Maiden. The Gods has become notorious for its debauchery, which thrives in the unique environment that brings together fans, bands and an all-star rock loving audience. As well as live performances from Airbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Paradise Lost, and Coal Chamber, other confirmed attendees include Brian Blessed, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Corey Taylor, Scott Gorham and ExMetallica’s Jason Newsted.
