Project Solutions Group (PSG) and Capital One enjoy a successful and continuing relationship that began in 2004. PSG performs construction management services for Capital One projects ranging from multi-million dollar data centers and call centers in occupied facilities to branch bank construction in occupied offices to new construction of stand-alone banking facilities.

Knolls Data Center, Richmond, VA PSG managed the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the 23,000 square foot Tier 3 mission critical data center.



The mission critical data center received Green Building Initiative’s (GBI) Certification of One Green Globe and was delivered on schedule and, 18% under budget.



Call Center, Tulsa, OK PSG managed the new 80,000 square foot call center project constructed within an occupied facility on the Verizon Campus in Tulsa.



PSG utilized Capital One’s on-line collaboration system to procure project design and general contracting services while integrating multiple vendor requirements into the project design and construction processes.



Capital One Bank Branch, McLean, VA This bank branch project involved converting 2,000 square feet of existing Capital One headquarters office space to a high-end banking facility with secure access.



Time and cost were saved by redesigning and re-installing existing furniture. The project was delivered ahead of schedule due to an integrated design/build team approach.

In 2002 PSG began their relationship with Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA) to provide project management services over 100 interior office build outs from the small, one-person office to full-floor 25,000 SF tenant spaces.

LFA, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Sagemark Consulting, hired PSG to oversee the implementation of a new strategic management plan and office development process on a national basis. This new management plan required project, construction and relocation management services from PSG to accomplish LFA’s established goals.

PSG’s staff has been working with this communications giant since the mid 1990’s when Nextel Communications embarked on an ambitious program of subscriber growth, supported by a similar growth in administrative and support facilities. In order to efficiently implement the expansion of real estate, Nextel contracted with a professional project management firm to manage, coordinate and oversee the execution of tenant improvement projects throughout the United States. Even after Sprint and Nextel merged in 2005, PSG continued to work with the new company.

In every sense of the concept, PSG’s project management personnel have been a key partner in the successful development of the company’s real estate facilities.

PSG created an “Office Development Handbook” defining roles, responsibilities, key personnel, processes, schedules, and standards. Using PSG’s planning and implementation tools PSG renovated an entire 33,000 SF executive floor in only 9 calendar days.

The formulation of an entire project team (architect, engineer, contractor, audio-visual vendor, furniture dealer, and lighting distributor) specifically structured for the development of call centers.
