Top Colleges and Universities Contributing Graduating Seniors to Teach For America’s 2012 Teaching Corps This year, a historic 5,800 individuals joined Teach For America as part of the 2012 corps. Together with the 2011 corps, they make up more than 10,000 corps members leading high-need classrooms in 46 regions that span 36 states and the District of Columbia. Seventy-seven percent of Teach For America’s 2012 corps are graduating seniors from the class of 2012.
