Tutorial title: Glimpse of Radio Frequency IC Design. The primary focus of the tutorial will be to introduce the low power RFIC design and its emerging opportunity. This would include the challenges in RF Design such as its RF-Circuits and transreceiver design and how it differs from conventional analog design. Short summary of the topics: Basics of RF-IC Design, such as different performance parameters for example: linearity, noise, amplification etc. State of the art transreceiver architecture. Standards of wireless communication and their modulation schemes (GSM, Zigbee, Bluetooth etc.). Followed by discussion on design principles of various transceivers and their CMOS implementation.
