For material of construction relevant ISO standard will be allowed. Bearing as per ISO standards are acceptable. For bolting BS is acceptable. For studs the relevant IS standards are acceptable. For all pipe threads, tapering, fasteners etc relevant ISO standard is acceptable. Information on the name plate and maintaining of test record for the pump shall be as per agreement between manufacturer and purchaser.

Earthing
Two independent earthing points of bolted type on opposite sides of motor. This will be in addition to any earthing stud provided in the terminal box.
The bidder shall provide pump data sheet along with performance curves in the technical bid for both RV set pressure and differential pressure. The motor shall be compatible to VFD and bidder to submit the performance curves for range of frequency to enable VFD manufacturer to set their operations.
SUBMISSION OF DRAWINGS / DATA SHEETS FOR APPROVAL: Upon receipt of LOI, the successful Vendor has to submit the following data sheets drawings for approval within Two Weeks: i) Pump data sheet, ii) General arrangement Drawing, iii) iii) Cross Sectional Drawing, iv) Mechanical seal drawing, v) Type of Foundation required with details of base plate & location of foundation bolts etc. Drawings shall be approved by HPCL within 2 weeks from the date of submission.
3RD PARTY INSPECTION Inspection by one of the following agencies is acceptable to us: 1. LLYODS 2. DET NORSKE VERITAS 3. IRS 4. CEIL 5. BV
INSPECTION & TESTING PUMPS: The pumps shall be inspected by any one of the above third Party as per provisions of API 676 with the following mandatory tests: Procedures Hydrostatic test Performance NPSH Screw Dynamic Balancing:
As per API 676 Witnessing Witnessing Witnessing The dynamic balancing of screw is required to be performed if applicable.
MOTOR: The Motor shall be inspected by any one of the above third Party as per the following details: Type test certificate Routine Test witnessing
IS 325 (3-phase induction motors) As per IS 325 / 4029 to comprise of following:
a. Insulation resistance test b. High voltage test. c. No load running (current/voltage reading). d. Locked rotor test at a suitable voltage. e. Reduced voltage running up test.
IMPORTANT NOTES 1.
In addition to above tests vendor shall submit material test certificates wherever applicable and other type test certificates from manufacturers. Third party inspection agency shall Endorse these certificates are in order. Vendor to submit suitable supporting calculation for selection of motor rating.

Vendors must submit all inspection test reports duly certified by authorised agency and obtain consent of HPCL before despatch of equipment.

Acceptance of shop tests does shall not relieve the vendor of his responsibilities whatsoever.

The mechanical running test on all pumps to ensure satisfactory operation at the specified operating condition need not be carried out with specified liquid nor the specified conditions. Such test data obtained shall be reviewed by Third Party Inspection Agency. The test results thus obtained shall be extrapolated/ interpolated for the specified operating condition mentioned in the tender. TPI should certify the derived test data thus arrived shall be as per relevant API standard/ specification.

PERFORMANCE CURVES shall indicate differential head, efficiency, NPSH (R) and BHP as functions of flow rate. These curves shall be shown for minimum and maximum impeller diameters. PRELIMINARY Outline & Arrangement drawings, schematic diagrams. CROSS SECTIONAL DRAWING and literature (TWO sets of each pump) Drawings for Installation Drawings showing dimensions and position of mechanical seal. Foundation plan. Outline dimensional drawing with general arrangement. Manual for Installation/ operating/ maintenance and overhauling. Spare Parts book. DESPATCH:
All pumps shall be painted with two coats of anti corrosive paint and three coats with glossy finish as per the approved colour code. Pump/ motor shall be coupled together and aligned before despatch.
Scope of Supervision of commissioning: Vendor shall depute competent persons for
supervision and commissioning of pumps within SEVEN DAYS days of HPCL intimation. Commissioning of the pumps is planned to be completed so as to limit the stay the competent personal to stay back till completion of commissioning to the fullest satisfaction of EIC at location. Vendor shall quote the rate against item in the price bid which shall include to & fro charges, lodging, boarding, food, local transport & all other incidental charges. Party to quote lump sum rate till commissioning of pumps.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payment Schedule shall be as under: SUPPLY OF PUMPS: - 90% on supply at site as per scope - 10% on successful commissioning COMMISSIONING SUPERVISION / ASSISTANCE - 100% on successful commissioning
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE: Supplies shall be fully guaranteed against any manufacturing defect / poor workmanship/ inferior design or quality etc. for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery or 18 months from the date of supply , whichever is earlier. During this period seller will arrange to repair/replace any defective part at free of cost or replace complete set if required.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH TECHNICAL BID: The specification provided are minimum required for the proposed operation at Desur IRD and vendors are free to quote for superior specification than provided in the technical specification. Vendors to clearly give the data sheet including performance curves for the pump for the required product (FO) properly filled for our evaluation.
The pumps are required at our Desur Depot. The address is as follows: Desur Depot, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Zadshapur Village, Near Desur Railway Station, Desur, Belgaum-590014, Karnataka.
