Application Material The admission modalities are with reference to the full time campus programs offered by the ICFAI University, Sikkim. The medium of instruction is English.
Eligibility Criteria MBA
Graduation in any discipline with 45% and above aggregate.
BBA-LLB
Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 50% above (any discipline) or equivalent.
BCA
Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 40% above preferably in commerce, mathematics or physics as one of the major subjects.
BBA /BHTM
Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 40% above (any discipline).
Final Year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Their admission will be provisional subject to qualifying in the final examination. The registration and admission of these candidates is liable to be cancelled in case they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria specified above by October 01, 2013. In such cases, full fee and registration charges will be refunded. Admission fee is not refundable.
Selection Procedure MBA: The selection of applicants into the MBA program is made through application and interview. BBA-LLB: Subject to eligibility scores of CLAT and/or any other national or state level entrance examination will be considered. Preference will be given to the candidates who have qualified in the said test. Indian candidates should not be more than 20 years of age as on October 01, 2013. BBA/BCA/BHTM: The selection of applicants into these programs is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria made through screening of the applications. Due weightage is given to academic distinction, honors and awards in sports, cultural events, extra curricular activities viz. debates, quizzes and adventure sports.

Interview The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the campus. This is to determine the students’ attitude and motivation to pursue the program. Original academic /other certificates and domicile certificate are required to be produced for verification at the time of the interview. These will be returned after verification. The applicants are required to bring photocopies of all their certificates in addition for retention in their records with the University. The selection for admission or otherwise will be communicated during the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee immediately after selection.
Special Reservation There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Sikkim in any course of the ICFAI University, Sikkim or in a constituent college, within the State of Sikkim, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above. Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category.

Fee Admission Fee: Admission Fee of ` 20,000 for MBA Program and ` 10,000 for BBA-LLB, BBA, BCA and BHTM Programs is to be paid by all the selected candidates immediately after the admission decision is announced. The last date for payment of admission fee is July 27, 2013.

Program Fee: The program fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and library fee. Students have to pay the fee at the beginning of each semester, as per the due dates which will be notified separately at the relavant time. BCA (3 years)

Admission fee (`) 10,000 10,000 10,000 20,000 Domicile: Students belonging to neighboring GTA (Gorkha Territorial Administration) will be treated on par with the domicile students of Sikkim. Remittance: All payments should be made by way of demand draft or banker’s cheque drawn in favor of “The ICFAI University, Sikkim - Fee Collection A/c” payable at Gangtok, Sikkim. Caution Deposit: All students will be required to make a Caution Deposit of ` 10,000 which is refundable at the completion of the program. In case of students migrating to any other ICFAI institution, this money will be transferred to that institution. In case of those who leave the ICFAI University, Sikkim for any other reason, it will be refunded after adjustments if there are any outstanding dues.
Campus Activities Fund: All students are required to pay an amount of ` 5,000 towards Campus Activities Fund which will be paid in two equal installments of ` 2,500 along with the First and the Second semester fee. Campus Activities Fund covers the expenditure towards the ICFAI University’s share of the educational tours and festivals, sports programs and emergent medical treatment for the first three days of hospitalization where required after which the student’s parents/guardians will be responsible for further treatment. Alumni Fee: An Alumni Fee of ` 5,000 will be paid by all students in the final semester of the program alongwith the semester fee.
