Best practices for publishing in scientific journals

UMB Article Types __ Original Contribu4ons: Peer-reviewed, high-quality research inves4ga4ons dealing with ultrasound and its applica4ons in biomedicine. __ Review Ar4cles: Reviews of major areas or sub-areas in ultrasound in medicine and biology. These ar4cles may be of any length and are peer-reviewed. __ Technical Notes: Brief studies introducing or expanding on a new technical ultrasound approach that have been tes4ng in vitro, in silico or in a limited clinical or biological study. __ Clinical Notes: Brief clinical studies in a limited pa4ent popula4on that demonstrate a novel applica4on of an exis4ng ultrasound technology or studies a disease e4ology or normal imaging target variant that does not exist in the literature.
