Unsteady MHD flow of a radiating fluid over a moving heated porous plate with time-dependent suction C. Israel-Cookey*, C. Nwaigwe Department of Mathematics, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, 500001 Nigeria ABSTRACT This study presents the flow of an electrically conducting and radiating fluid over a moving heated porous plate in the presence of an induced magnetic field. By taking the radiative heat flux in the differential form of the optically thinness and imposing a time – dependent sinusoidal perturbation, the coupled non-linear partial differential equations governing the problem are solved for temperature, velocity and magnetic field. The effects of radiation parameter, R, plate velocity, up, suction parameter A, Grashof number, Gr and magnetic parameter, M on the flow are presented and discussed.
