UNSW Training Sessions for Physics Olympiad 2013 The School of Physics, University of New South Wales (UNSW) will be holding Olympiad Sessions for those students who desire to undertake extra training for the National Qualifying Exam (NQE) in Physics. The scheduled date of this exam is on 14 August 2013. UNSW will be offering an intensive 9 x 2hr sessions training regime. This training is available to any student in Years 11 and below. The sessions will also provide excellent background information for students intending to undertake Physics at a university level. PHYSICS TRAINING SCHEDULE Topics: Mechanics, Oscillation & Waves, Electric Charges and Fields, Electric Current, Thermodynamics and Experimental & Processes. Layout: The structure of the sessions will be a mixture of lectures and tutorials. The lectures will help promote theory and the tutorials will allow greater understanding by exploring worked examples.
